After a storm or distraction there is always a period of rebuilding.  In most cases it can cost a pretty penny to replace something that was destroyed.  In any situation were a home was needing repair it was easy to repair the small things that needed fixing.  When it comes to the renovation aspect one must consider all of the areas that need to be replaced, refreshed and renewed.  Restore in the Hebrew Definition means to make amends, to prosper, repay, compensate and give restitution for loss and damage.  Often times when we loose a home or something we have possession over we seek to compensate ourselves and rebuild what we lost.  That’s why insurance is so important.  With insurance we pay into this over time and when something goes wrong we can file a claim and allow the insurance to pay for the repair.  This is the same concept with the word.  We develope our relationship with God and his word over time and when something happens we can Go to God and seek Home for what we may need to pray.  God doesn’t want us to foot the bill but he infact desires us to trust His process of restoration.  There are some things that we are holding onto that God is trying to tear down.  It is hard to look at a home landscape that has the worst appearance without wanting to invest in beautifying it.  The urge to fix it is normal.  But sometimes it’s better for the property to allow it to be bulldozed and completely dismantled in order to start over and rebuild.  Just like the storms that come to our communities, some things are better after the wind comes.  The word says “And I will restore to you the years that the locust hath eaten, the cankerworm, and the caterpiller, and the palmerworm, my great army which I sent among you.”  â€â€Joel‬ â€2:25‬ †when storms come sometimes God wants us to receive the winds of life and allow things to reset so He can move.  in the scripture it says “my great army that I sent”. This is amazing to me because we often times blame our storms on people when God is trying to work.  It is His resistance that is necessary for growth, renewal and restoration to take place.  Destruction is the seed for restoration.  It is the only time that true restoration can take place.  Restoration means the action of returning something to a former owner, place, or condition.  There are some things we felt we lost out on the God is about to restore.  And guess what? It will be given back Better then before!!!
Be encouraged today and trust God’s process!!Â
Restoration is not always a bad thing. Â Embrace change in career, love, Family and more!!Â
